You see, I thought Mallory had included several different lengths for the bottoms and I decided I was going to make the shorts length for my pretest version.  The only problem was, there was no shorts length!  I had totally mistaken the thigh line marking as a  “cut here for shorts” line, and yet the result is so satisfying!

I used the wider leg option and cut right on the thigh line to make my shorts jumpsuit.  I followed the directions as written for the rest of the jumpsuit, and ended up hemming my shorts 1 inch.  If you decide you want longer or shorter shorts you could just measure down to the inseam length that you want and crop the legs accordingly.  The thigh length just happened to be perfect for me.  (For those interested, I am 5’1” and I usually only have to adjust the length of my pants; I do not have to adjust anywhere in the bodice.)  Isn’t this perfect for summer?!
